How to Use 47 Skin

Get the most out of your 47 Skin products

We want you to get the most out of your products and see the maximum effects of Silver Chitoderm on your skin.

So, we've put together a guide on the best way to use our products in your skin care routine, as well as our advice on what products you should be using.

We've also got 4 different ways you can use your serum on your skin.

Your skin care routine

Every Morning

Wash your hands to remove any bacteria before you touch your face, or use our Silver Spray hand sanitiser. Cleanse with our Everyday Cleanser. Wet your face with warm water and massage 1-2 pumps of cleanser into your face in circular motions. Remove with a wet wash cloth and rinse thoroughly.

Pat your face dry with a clean towel, before applying 1-2 pumps of your 47 Skin serum onto the back of your hand. (Age Defence Serum to target fine lines and wrinkles and Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Serum for acne prone skin).

Massage this into your face and neck, by dipping your fingers into it. Make sure to never rub the product into your hands first or your serum will end up on your hands, rather than your face!

Wait a couple of minutes for it to sink in, before following with moisturiser (ideally containing SPF30 or above to help protect your skin against fine lines and wrinkles).

Every Evening

Cleanse your face as above. Double cleanse if you are wearing make-up to ensure it's all removed. Then apply your 47 Skin Serum.

Wait 2 minutes for it to sink in before using a night cream or moisturiser. If you have very oily skin, you may wish to avoid this step.

2-3 times a week

After cleansing, apply a Mask Treatment to give your skin an intensive dose of Silver Chitoderm. Our Silver Mask is best for blemishes and scar repair. Our Blue Clay Mask is great for revitalising dull, tired skin and reducing fine lines.

Leave your mask treatment on until it's completely dry and follow the instructions for each mask.

When your face is clean and dry, follow with your 47 Skin serum.

4 Other Ways To Use Your Serum

1) As a primer under make-up

Our serum is lightweight and hydrating, making a perfect primer for your skin before applying make-up. Our Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Serum creates an anti-bacterial layer over the skin, helping to protect your skin from breakouts throughout the day.

2) As an under-eye cream

Our Age Defence Serum is designed to target fine lines and brighten your complexion. This makes it perfect for revitalising any tired skin under your eyes, bringing back glow and making you feel refreshed. Simply dab a generous amount under and around your eyes by tapping gently with your finger (being careful to avoid contact with your eyes).

3) As a night cream

Add 2 pumps of Age Defence Serum to your night cream or normal moisturiser, on the back of your hand. Mix thoroughly and massage it into your face and neck. This contains Chitoderm, which will give your skin a collagen boost overnight, helping your skin feel firmer and smoother.

4) As a base for your facial massage

Facial massages can really help improve your blood circulation and help shed dead skin cells, but using an oil can clog your pores and lead to blemishes. Using a 47 Skin Serum to massage your face, such as our Age Defence Serum, not only boosts blood flow, but also helps the ingredients sink deeper into your skin as well, helping to refresh and renew your skin cells. Apply a generous amount to your fingers and massage into your face and neck for 5-10 minutes, using an upwards circular motion.
