Being yourself is being skin positive
Meet Ambassador, Liz, who has spent most of her life worrying about her acne.
To the point where she felt like she didn't have anything positive to say about her skin, until now.
Even though it's taken her a long time to realise it, she's finally found the courage to realise that "most people don't care what you look like - they like you for the person you are."
Realising this has helped her discover that "You don't need to consume yourself with how your skin looks".
Liz has always worn make-up as a way to help her feel more confident, but used to feel ashamed that she wasn't able to leave the house without it.
She was always concerned about people's perception of her as someone with acne, and felt afraid to let people see her real skin.
Only recently has she started feeling confident enough to leave the house with less make-up covering her skin.
Now she wants to make sure that other acne sufferers know it's ok to feel like this.
It's ok to only go out with a full face of make-up or not to wear any make-up at all - "Do whatever you're comfortable doing."
It's not about other people's opinions - it's how you feel that matters most, and however you feel is valid - there is no right way to feel.
Her most important message is "just be yourself, in whatever way, shape or form you take."
